		The Solutions: In the early 1980’s, Chinook’s expertise was called upon for an emergency repair to a steam valve on the ice breaker Canadian Coast Guard Louis St. Laurent. The valve was air freighted to Calgary where it was completely “Stellite” reconditioned by Chinook. On return, it was immediately installed, successfully returning the massive ice breaker to service.
