For example, only weeks before the start of the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, an emergency request was received to re-grout a water pump at the Nakiska Ski Hill. The pump, which was critical to snow-making facilities, was repaired by Chinook with "Chockfast Blue", allowing the pump to be returned to critical service ahead of schedule.
